arghz.. today's my off day and i can't go out.. WHY? you ask.. coz i was sick yesterday.. =( like melvina i had a fever last night too.. haha.. sick also sick together.. =X

worked spilt shift yesterday but only had a 1 hour break.. worked from 12-4 then 5-10pm coz we were short of staff.. other than me there was only the cahsier and another part-timer.. at first i was alright.. i only had sore throat.. then around 7+pm the pain in my throat got worse and worse.. i dreaded having to swallow.. i started to feel cold too and also abit weak.. kept feeling that i needed to sit down and rest.. soon i started feeling like a piece of shit.. haha.. really wanted to go home.. but i couldn't.. so i dahan-ed all the way til 10pm.. i hated it when i had to talk to customers.. when i talked.. the words didn't come out naturally.. it's like i had to force out the words.. and my voice was abit soft.. felt super sian plus uncomfortable..

after work i met danny at the ps bus stop.. he bought me liang cha for my sorethroat.. and not jia jia lian cha mind you.. it was those super bitter kinds with the chinese medicine inside.. yucks.. but i didn't have a choice.. if i wanted the pain to go away.. i had to drink it.. then he bought me a can of yeos chrysenthmem tea.. then he realized i was having a fever and insisted that i go home straight away..

when i got home first thing i did was take my temperature.. 38.6 degrees.. then i ate some mcvities biscuits with horlicks and took my medicine.. 2 bactrim and 2 paracitamol pills.. then i drank a cup of water.. and my dad had to wait til i finished the cup of water when he told me to take vitamin-c as well.. you know the kind you dissolve in water.. so i had to drink yet another cup of water.. damn.. felt super de duper full.. and before i went to sleep i gargled some salt water.. kiasu huh? anyway.. my colleagues all said that it was good for healing sore throats so might as well..

and today i'm feeling better.. the fever is gone ( hopefully!!) and my throat doesn't hurt anymore.. but i'm left with phlem now.. =S and my voice is abit different.. and my dad has "grounded" me for today.. haha.. hopefully i get better by tomorrow coz it's danny's day off tomorrow and we planned to "er ren se jie".. =X hee..
