got home really late yesterday so i was too tired to blog.. haha.. i went to BATAM..!! =) first time i've been gone there.. was pretty fun.. i shall tell ya bout my experience..

i was at home happily surfing the net when i msged gab to ask if they were going anywhere.. then he msged me back saying that they were going to batam and asked if i wanted to come along.. they were already waiting for the bus to habour front.. so i quickly got ready and met them over at habour front.. habour front shopping centre actually looks like a good place to shop.. i shall keep a mental note to myself to go there next time.. =X

we couldn't get an earlier ferry so we took the 2.45pm ferry.. and the ferry ride (2-way) costs a freaking 30 bucks..!! -_-" then while we were waiting.. we went over to the duty free shop to check out the alcohol.. vodka was only selling at like 24 or 26 dollars per bottle..?? OMG.. SO CHEAP..!! =X but then again.. i was the only one among us who was already 18.. and you have to stay in indonesia for at least 3 days if you want to purchase it.. so too bad.. =P

when we finally boarded the ferry it took pretty long before it actually set off.. they left at 2.45pm on the dot.. and initially the boat was travelling at a really slow speed.. we got really bored.. but when it did reach the out into the main sea the speed did pick up alot.. whenever another boat passed.. our ferry would bob up and down.. and it kinda made you feel sea sick.. =S so gabbie fell asleep after awhile.. and me and clemmie just waited and waited and waited til.. we FINALLY reached batam an hour later..

the irony.. we set off from singapore at 2.45pm.. but we reach batam at 2.45pm.. did we teleport there..?? nah~ that's coz indonesia is an hour slower than singapore.. so we literally left s'pore and arrived at indo at the exactly same time.. =X

HAIZ.. sad to say.. my australian passport needs a visa to go into indonesia.. and it cost a whooping 10 US dollars or 18 sgd.. -_-" STUPID VISA..!! it cost me a grand total of 48 bucks to get into indo lar.. so BO HUA..!! i could buy alot with 48 dollars lar.. =S and actually the ferry ride was supposed to cost 20 bucks only but because of the rise in fuel prices.. they jacked it up to 30.. arghz..!! -_-"""

so first we headed over to food mall.. and we ate kentucky fried chicken..!! muahahahahhaa.. and it cost 6000 rupiah to buy a one piece chicken meal with rice and a drink which size is the equivalent of the kid's drink in s'pore.. in other words.. it ONLY costs 1 SINGAPORE DOLLAR..!! and the chicken there tastes really good.. =) after that we headed over to a&w for drinks and fries..!! we ordered this potato platter which consists of potato stars, normal fries and of course the ever popular (and my favourite) CURLY FRIES..!! i got a vanilla milkshake.. clemmie a choc shake and gabbie a JUMBO root bear float.. i had wanted to get the waffle with ice cream but decided against it as it cost like more than 3 times of the drink.. =S but still.. i don't regret coz the shakes there are HEAVENLY.. they're so smooth and rich and creamy.. *drools*

after that we walked around the building and shopped a little.. okay.. gab and clem shopped.. gab got a black sleeveless top while clemmie a pair of bright YELLOW fila shoes.. if only i had brought along more money.. i would probably had gotten something too.. but i didn't think the journey there would cost so much and that the prices there though cheap are still alot.. so i only brought 50bucks.. and ended up had to borrow from gabbie and clemmie.. i am forever in debt to you guys.. -_-" boo~* i HATE owing people money.. =(

then we took a cab down to golden prawn to eat seafood.. the journey there was rather long.. also it was raining.. and it was kinda far.. in a more rural area.. the roads and places we passed by.. they were all kinda run down.. sort of reminds me of the province areas in the philippines.. and the cabs there.. they're just like normal cars turned cabs by putting up signs that say taxi and be adding stuff to it termed "spoilers" by clemmie and gabbie..

we ate a hell lot at that golder prawn 933 place.. before we ordered our food.. we went to check out the seafood they had.. as in the live ones that were placed into ponds.. and i saw a guy catching this HUMONGOUS cuttlefish.. OMG..!! i am still very amazed by it.. the bugger really is super big.. and super wide too.. too bad i didn't manage to get a picture of it.. and i felt kinda heart pain when the guy was catching it.. the cuttlefishy turned from white to black in a split second.. it was kind of scary.. and the guy was using abig plactic bag to watch it instead of a net.. then when he had caught it je tied up the bag and placed it on the floor.. the cuttlefish was struggling around in the big.. so inhumane.. =S

we saw this other young couple from singapore there too.. i think they were about our age or maybe a year or two older.. and gabbie was talking to them about where they had been etc etc.. and the guy kept touching his girlfried.. like touching her shoulder and neck.. somewhat like a possesive manner.. like he was trying to mark his territory and show that the girl belonged to him.. i guess he was trying to protect his girl from gabbie.. =X wahahahahahahahaha.. must have seen gabbie as a threat.. lolz.. the guy has no faith in his girl..

so we finally ordered.. we had alot of food.. we had snapper.. pepper & chilli crab.. tie pan doufu.. sambal kangkong.. half a fried chicken (which turned out really TINY).. small little prawns.. and gab ordered some shellfish.. dunno if it was gong gong or lala.. =X and we had coconut juice.. the coconuts are really big lar.. nice to drink.. *slurpz* =)

after the meal we sort of panicked.. coz we didn't really have enough cash (both sgd & rupiah)and the placed looked so rundown and since it was in the middle of nowhere.. there couldn't possibly be a visa machine there.. we were all prepared to wash dishes when we asked for the bill.. and true enough.. we were short of cash.. then we asked if they accepted visa.. HALLELUJAH..!! THEY ACCEPT VISA THERE..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you should have seen the look on my and gabbie's faces.. we could practially run to their visa machine and hug and kiss it..!! it was a super shock lar.. they ACTUALLY have visa machines there.. OMG..!!

so the cabbie waited til we had finished dinner then he drove us again.. he recommended this place called robinsons and there we went.. turns up it's some department store which really doesn't suit people our age.. but no choice lar.. since we were already there.. so we bought bottled drinks.. you know the really olden glass bottle coke kind..? yea.. gabbie and clemmie bought like 4 each.. 2 coke and 2 sprite.. i just bought 1 coke bottle.. then we went down to the department store.. the guys got this stove thingy.. you know the kind you can use for steamboat..?? so next time we can go to clemmie's place and have steamboat on his roof.. muahahahahahahhaha~* and i got this rainbow coloured top.. gabbie was saying that it was really "me".. =X i bought 2 turtle magnets too.. and gab oso got a cap from the pasar malam like store outside of the building.. it cost like 3 singapore dollars..?? and he was going to give it to his bro.. -_-" evil brother.. he keep the good stuff for himself.. give the cheap stuff to his bro.. i pity his bro.. always getting bullied.. tsk tsk..

so we got back to the ferry terminal to catch our ferry back.. we were going to take the 9.45pm ferry.. which in s'pore time is 10.45pm.. but it was still kinda early as we reached the terminal at 9.15pm.. then we went over to the polo raulph store.. and their prices are really alot cheaper than sinagpore's.. but hey.. it was still authentic goods.. but i didn't get anything.. no $$$.. nvm.. i shall get gabbie and clemmie to buy for me the next time they go here.. *evil laughter* =p

we stayed kinda long at the shop and almost missed our ferry.. =X we were like chionging all the way.. =X and the journey back to sinagpore seemed alot faster than the journey to indo.. and the 3 of us went up to the back of the boat.. the atmosphere was really great up there.. you could see the huge waves that the boat was making behind it.. and it was super de duper windy.. everything was all black and you could only see the sea.. and the stars were out in the sky.. quite a number of them.. it was really beautiful.. and would be a perfect place to be with that special someone.. =) we staye up there quite awhile til the boat was nearing singapore..

we got to sinagore around 11.45pm.. and luckily a still had my last train home.. if not i wouldn't have any money to go home coz the only alternative way was to take taxi.. or i could have got dear to come and get me.. but nah.. so late already.. don't want to trouble him.. =) and throughout the way home i was really URGENT to go to the toilet.. especially when i was running to catch the train.. i thought it would be leaving already or something coz they were announcing the the last train was at the platform.. so i was urgent and i was chionging to the track and didn't have time to go to the loo.. so when i do reach the train.. turns up there was still 3-4mins til the train left.. *diaoz* -_-" so when i finally got to serangoon station i rushed home and finally got to answer the call of nature.. AHHHHHHHH~* what a relief.. =X lolz.. okay.. you guys didn't need to no that right? anyway.. if it helps.. it wasn't big business okay..?? wAhahAHahahAHahAHaHAHHAHAHAhahahaHA.. okay.. i'm nuts.. >.<

so that's all for my trip to batam.. =)

as for today.. i was feeling really lazy and tired in the morning.. so i decided to sleep til 8am.. and i didn'y bathe before going to school.. there was only one lessom today.. from 9-11am.. and since i'm working later at 6pm.. then i'd need to bathe again.. so might as well i just bathe later before i got to work rite..?? =X heez.. really slack today.. wore t-shirt and shorts.. no make-up either.. i decided that i should let me skin BREATHE if i want it to get any better.. especially since i wear make up almost everyday.. after school we went over to sengkang.. coz thea, gabbie, ling and clemmie were going to jb and thea needed to go home to get her passport.. so we had lunch at compass point.. and i finally bought my conditioner.. my hair is getting really "dehydrated" for not using conditioner for almost 2 weeks.. =S

thea's whole family was at home when we went over.. she looks like her mum.. and her dad looks kinda young actually.. i got to see her younger bro too.. not bad lar.. hahaha.. and thea's room has a MUSKY smell.. =X (oh no.. i think she's gonna kill me if she sees this.. =P) i think it's cos she doesn't open her windows often.. it's kinda strong.. and her room is in a mess.. and i thought my room was bad.. i have met my match..!! *grinz* hee..

so here i am now at home.. gonna have to start getting ready for work soon.. shall post pictures of my batam trip.. heez.. cole over and out..
