the IRONY..

when i actually have the whole day to myself.. no tests.. no projects.. no going to school.. i'm SICK.. -_-"

been sick since wednesday.. had flu.. cough.. sorethroat.. and that night when i got home after the cma test i got a little feverish.. yong chuen insisted that he go with me to see the doctor.. =X

so on thursday it seemed that my fever had subsided.. and that i was on the road to recovery.. cept for the neverending supply of mucus that was trying to escape my nose.. *gross* lolz~*

who would know that while studying in the library for ecd test yesterday that i'd start feeling weird again.. i started to feel heaty.. the right cheek muscles under my right eye were a little sore too.. like if i tried to wink my right eye it would feel kinda "suan".. after the paper i felt even worse.. feeling abit weak too.. and very cold while everyone else wasn't.. so i got home.. changed and met yong chuen for dinner.. went to the s-11 at serangoon central.. after that back home and took my temperature.. 38.2degrees..!! =S and my dad was busy fussing over me.. nagging at me to take my temperature.. to take medicine.. and he even soaked a towel in a bowl with ice and water to put on top of my forehead.. daddy's little girl yea?

anyways.. i shall start updating you guys about the past 2 weeks.. =S wahahaha.. haven't blogged for so long.. AGAIN.. -_-"

3rd aug - hong hong's birthday..!!

after school we went to the halo bar for ktv-ing..!! we decided to go there coz apparently hong hong likes that place alot.. haha.. had alot of fun singing and taking pics.. after that we went to bukit timah road.. the string of makan places opposite from beauty world.. we had zhu cao.. we had hometown doufu, sweet and sour pork, you tiao with mayo, kangkong and a plate of white + roast chicken..

5th aug - happy happy happy..!! lalalallalallalalalalallala~*

on this very day.. nicole said goodbye to singledom.. who's the mystery guy..? well.. the guy whose name keeps appearing in my posts.. =X heez..

6th aug - shopping spree

me and melly went on a super shopping spree today.. first we started at far east where melly got a pair of earring and a small white handbag.. i got like 3 necklaces and a bohemian style top.. then we headed over to wisma where we saw kim at forever 21.. next stop was taka.. we went into zara and tried some tops.. i tell ya.. mel takes like FOREVER to decide whether to buy something.. =X haha.. you see.. she couldn't decide between which size to take.. so i told her to take the smaller size cos it looked nicer.. but she couldn't decide.. so she kept changing from one to the other.. and even called her sis to ask for her opinion.. and half an hour later.. she took the smaller one..!! -_-" mel.. why don't you trust my taste..?? haiz..!! lolz~* then it was time for lunch.. but it was really budget.. we bought the 14 piece chicken nuggets from mos and shared a cup of ice lemon tee.. while waiting for our food.. we saw simon.. as there were no seats we ordered take-away and went up to the open air place in front of taka.. near the fountains and the 7-11.. after that next stop was heeren.. i bought a bracelet and a pair of tie-up slippers.. you know the greek style kind..?? was really really happy coz i had been looking for that kind of slippers for so long.. and they actually had it in my size.. you know how difficult it is to find ladies slippers in my size in singapore..?? wahahahhaahahahaha.. after that we went to OG where mel tried on some pants at giodarno.. again she couldn't decide which size to take.. =X so after much calling ppl to ask for their opinion and changing from one size to the other again she finally decided.. then we met up with her friend kit.. headed to ps and walked around.. saw christopher at cafe cartel.. town is full of ngee ann students..!! then i had to go off coz i was going to meet yong chuen for a movie after his work..

we ended up watching the land of the dead.. 12.20am show.. the show was okay.. but some parts were really scary.. especially the part with the priest.. arghz..!! i kept getting shocked and holding onto his hand really tightly.. so dan xiao huh..? i think i ended up scaring yong chuen more than the show.. =X lolz.. of wells.. at least he got his money's worth of scares.. =P

8th aug - national day eve

he came to school to pick me up and we went to town to do some shopping.. but not for me.. coz i had already spent so much on sat.. =X we went to the coffee bean at taka.. and i got to try the banana caramel ice blended..!! *yum yum* haha.. we shared a slice of american cheesecake..
i wanted the chocolate cake actually but he wouldn't let me coz i was having a sorethroat.. =X then we went to levis and he saw a top he liked but they didn't have his size.. so they reserved a piece for him at the levis in heeren instead.. so we went over to collect it and walked around heeren abit..

then went to meet the others at marina square to celebrate mel's birthday.. by the time we got there they had already finished dinner and were walking around.. then we went over to the esplanade to eat hagen daz ice cream..!! but when we got there there wasn't enough space for the whole group fo us.. so they said they would call us when they did have space.. we bought some choc covered marshmellows and strawberries from a choc shop and wad'dya know.. one of the year 3 bfs students was working there.. i think his name was kelvin? can't really remember.. =X he was the captain of the soccer team that tiong hian, gabbie, kenneth and eugene were in that time when i went to school to watch.. so he gave us quite a few extra pieces of chocs.. by then hagen daz had called so we headed back.. and tiong hian was there.. wahahaha.. guess we made alot of noise coz the other customers kept looking at us.. we ordered 3 bowls with 4 scoops of ice cream per bowl.. if u do the math that equals to 12 scoops.. so we had like 12 different flavours.. *slurpz* but the scoops were kinda small.. but oh wells.. it's hagen daz..!! =X

after eating we went over to the bay outside the esplanade.. they were having pre-national day celebrations.. there was a live band playing.. and they had people dressed up in costumes either posing for pictures or dancing and entertaining the crowd.. after some time we headed back indoors and wanted to go into a bar.. but there wasn't enough seats for us again.. =S so after that the rest went home..

as me and him still hadn't had dinner yet.. we went over to marina square to look for FOOD.. but everywhere was closing.. =S luckily we found this fastfood place.. can't remember the name.. the burgers seemed really big and i don't think my throat would quite agree with brugers and fries.. so i ordered chicken salad.. i tell ya.. the chicken is OH.. SO GOOD.. yumz.. somewhat roasted chicken.. but there was TONNES of lettuce.. i was like eating and eating and eating but there was still so much of that green stuff in the bowl.. i gave a sigh of relief when i finally could see the bottom of the bowl.. =X i have never eaten so much lettuce at a time all my life..!!

we sat there til about 11.45 then we headed back outside to catch the fireworks.. we thought of going to the esplanade but worried that it'd be too crowded so we stayed at the big staircase outside of marina square.. the fire works were BEAUTIFUL..!! lots of colours and patterns.. it was a really sweet moment.. and i'm glad i had someone special to watch it with me.. =)

9th august - happy national day

went to the airport with him and small boy (as yc calls him).. small boy is a kid that yc's mum looks after.. he's realllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyy CUTE.. and he's only 4 years old.. it was his first time at the airport.. we had burger king for lunch.. then took the skytrain.. went over to the viewing gallery.. took the skytrain a couple of times more then it was back home.. or his place for that matter.. i stayed for dinner and to get back my laptop.. then had to go home to study for cma.. -_-"

10th-12th aug - tests.. fever..

wednesday was spent piahing for cma test.. that morning when i woke up i felt like crap.. didn't want to go to school.. but was worried i wouldn't be able to get an mc for the test.. you see.. i had cough.. sorethroat.. flu.. but no fever.. everything else but a FEVER.. arghz.. so i decided that i just go to school.. think i'm gonna flunk my paper.. after the paper i felt even more like crap.. thanks to everyone who worried about me.. thanks to thea for the cup of warm water.. thanks to melly for the panadol.. and thanks to mavis for all the advice.. =X

thursday was spent on IS.. our group was taking part in the bazaar at block 56 and we had 2 stalls there.. we were selling tidbits like prawn crackers and fish crackers.. and also metal bookmarks with cute patterns on it.. me, thea, ling and eug walked around canteen 1 and the atrium to try to sell our goods.. luckily we saw many people we knew.. and just nice in canteen 1 was f4..!! lolz.. kah how, tiong hian and yifeng bought something each.. but toopid eugene.. not only did he not buy anything.. he even ran off.. -_-" stayed in school til about 5+pm.. then me, thea and gab headed to town for dinner.. ate at the foodcourt at taka.. sorry guys.. couldn't eat better food coz of my sorethoat and cough.. then he came over to meet me for awhile.. sat down to talk and walked around abit.. while gab and thea went off.. then back home to study for ecd.. but at the last minute i found out i had to do hrm e-learning tutorial.. stayed up til3+am just doing it and i fell alseep without studying..

felt really tired on friday morning.. only slept for like 3+ hour.. then i decided i wouldn't go for fmgt tutorial.. was really too damn tired.. so i went back to sleep til like 9.50am.. then got ready for school.. blaw lecture seemed more like a waste of time.. half the time i couldn't understand what the lecturer was talking about.. then we had lunch at the atrium.. then up to the library to study for ecd.. we had a 6 hour break lar.. coz the test only started at 6pm and we were let off from lecture at 12pm.. lucky for the break.. if not there would be no time to complete 8 chapters.. =S we managed to find an empty project room.. and wad'dya know.. nobody came to claim the room the whole time we were there.. how lucky..!! =) the test seemed okay..

today
so now i'm at home.. wasting my time away.. my dad forbids me to go out.. he wants me to stay at home and rest.. supposed to go to school to do the hrm presentation.. which i WILL have to do after this.. was supposed to work at 4pm too.. wonder what i'm going to do later.. hmm.. *thinking*.. well.. that's all for now..
