one week of school has gone..

well.. ALMOST..

just one more lecture tomorrow.. toopid make-up lecture for tuesday.. arghz..

like finally.. we get to have a lecture at block 73..!!

i noe i said that i'd update on some stuff on my previous blog.. BUT.. i'm feeling pretty darn lazy to type so much.. SO.. i will leave out the australia trip for now.. abit too much of a hassle.. =X

for my resolution to stop cutting my hair.. recently my ah ma (grandma) came down to singapore to visit.. so did my uncle, auntie and cousins from malaysia.. so as usual we would have a reunion dinner at a chinese restaurant at some hotel.. every time we go to a different one.. so.. both my girl cousins from malaysia and another who is living here have really long hair lar.. i was SO jealous.. lolz.. since the last time i saw them since chinese new year.. their hair has grown so much longer lar.. and mine..?? *SIGHZ* looks like it's always the same length lar.. -_-" SO.. in light of that.. i will STOP cutting my hair from now on.. so people.. if you ever hear me saying i want to go for a haircut.. please knock some sense into me and stop me..

my new phone.. yea.. i've changed my phone to a 7610.. nokia is still the best.. =) downgraded my plan from powerchat 300 to 100 since i don't need that much free outgoing minutes.. and what i love about the phone is that it has expandable memory..!! i know.. you guys must be thinking i'm some stupid sua ku.. but when you're using a k7001 and you've only got 41mb of memory.. you'd be pretty happy when there are options like 128, 256 and 512mb multimedia cards.. =p and now i can finally like transfer stuff to my phone via the data cable.. before with my k700i.. after i reformatted my lappy.. i couldn't use my bluetooth device anymore.. somehow it just wouldn't work.. so all my ringtones were outdated and i couldn't transfer my pictures to my lappy.. so frustrating.. now.. i get to put any song i want or transfer wadever picture i like.. so i got an extra 256mb mmc when i bought the phone.. and you know what.. it got spoilt the next day.. -_-"was pretty irritated lar.. but luckily the shop gave me a new one when i brought it back.. =) they didn't know what was wrong either.. apparently there were holes at the back of the card that shouldn't be there.. =S *clueless*

and finally my naval piercing.. haha.. got it done like 4 days before my trip to aussie.. been wanting to do it for months lar.. but never dared to go.. especially when you hear stories of people's piercings getting infections or the flesh tearing or what not.. so when i finally had free time during the holidays.. i decided there and then that i'd go on that day.. coz that was the only day i was free til after my aussie trip and i didn't want to wait so long.. =X tried to find people to go with me.. but mel and gab weren't free.. finally i managed to get one of my best buds from sec school.. mr ang weiye.. i decided on getting the piercing done at the tattoo shop at heeren.. coz fas east had way too many shops and i didn't know which one to choose.. and also coz i remember that the shop at heeren was featured in a tv variety show before so it must be reliable.. and also i read from a forum on naval piercings people recommending to go there.. so knowing that people trusted the place and that there was only one such shop in the entire building would make my choice that much easier.. also have you seen the girl who works there at the shop..?? she has tonnes of tattoos lar.. i trust that she knows her stuff..

in the end me and weiye ended up meeting late coz he had to go to school and was having a presentation on that day.. but he had to leave early coz he was meeting maurice and another friend for some buffet at united square.. and just my luck.. when we went to the shop.. they were away for dinner.. so we waited and waited.. and just when we were about to leave coz weiye was gonna be late.. the people come back.. BUT.. the downside.. they had to steralize the piercing apparatus for half an hour.. so no choice.. i would have to go on and do it alone.. =S i was kinda abit freaked.. especially about going alone.. but i had already made my choice and paid.. so i walked around til time was up.. then went back to the shop.. i had choosen a barbell with a rainbow coloured thingy in it.. ( how typical right?? =p ) so the girl who's nickname was hp took me to a small room inside.. then she asked me to stand in front of her where she used alcohol and iodine to clean my belly button and the area around it.. then she used to ink pen to make a mark like they do for ear piercings to mark where the piercing should go.. she was telling to stay as still as possible if not the mark my not be straight and the piercing would end up crooked.. then she told me to look in the mirror and check if they were straight..

next she made me lie down on those chair thingys like they have in the clinics.. the one you lie down flat on.. and she told me not to be nervous and to relax.. coz the more nervous you felt the more painful the piercing would be.. so i was like.. right.. so i'm supposed to feel relaxed after hearing that.. anyway.. she used some clamp like thingy to clamp the top part of the belly button.. to straighten the skin and also to take away abit of the pain.. coz you'd be too busy feeling the pressure from the clamps that you'd be distracted from pain of the piercing.. so she was talking me though the thing.. telling me to regulate my breathing.. so i looked straight up to the ceiling and tried to keep my breathing as calm as possible.. then she said.. "this is going to be the most painful part" and all of a sudden.. i feel this really sharp pain.. like some needle going through my bellybutton.. okay.. make that a big needle.. then next thing i knew she said it was in and that she's just need to screw on the ball thingy ontop.. i don't know what actually happened.. coz the whole time i was staring at the ceiling.. but i did get a shock.. not so much from the pain but more from the suddeness from it.. pain is pain lar.. but only for that short while..

then she released the clamps and told me to stand up.. she she started stretching and straightening the skin above the bellybutton which had been clamped by the clamps.. she then proceeded to check the piercing and whether it was straight.. and she said it was perfect.. i could feel my heart beating in my chest.. haha.. what a truely scary but exciting process.. =X

well.. the piercing hasn't fully healed yet.. and occassionally there is pus or bleeding.. but other than that i'm fine.. =)

damn tired lar.. i woke up at 6.40+am today.. but only slept around 4+am.. which means i only slept for like 2 hour ++.. =S was feeling pretty tired won the way to school and also during my first hour of work.. -_-" gonna catch some sleep soon.. still have to wake up early for my lecture..

lastly.. i want to say that i can't wait for harry potter and saw 2 to open in cinemas..!! yay..!! =D and.. i REALY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to watch "the exorcism of emily rose".. heard from gab and juan that it's a good show.. =X just watched "zorro" the other day.. it's a pretty good show.. quite funnie and zorro's son is so cute lar.. lolz.. was supposed to go clubbing at zouk on that day with the classmates.. but it got cancelled in the end.. was kinda disappointed.. but oh wells.. what to do.. .. ..

k lar.. gonna go wash up and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz le.. can't wait for shopping tomorrow..!! =D although i'm doing it alone.. can u believe it? someone getting excited over shopping alone.. ?? must be some LOSER rite..?? lolz.. no choice lar.. no shopping khakis to go with.. haha.. i was eyeing a pink pmk top yesterday.. gonna have a second look tomorrow.. hee.. ciaoz~*
