YAY..!!

okay.. actually i cheated.. coz quite a number of my posts are actually photos i uploaded using hello.. =X lalallalalalalalalalallaallalalala..

anyways..

at the moment.. i would like to update that i have 12 piercings in total.. muahahahahhahaa.. i had my tragus pierced on saturday..

now let me tell you how i got it..

well.. the past few days prior to saturday.. i had been doing research about tragus piercings on the internet.. like what kind of jewellery.. what is the process like.. read accounts of people who had had their traguses pierced in singapore.. i also went to a forum to read about abt people's enquiries about it.. i also wanted to check out on the prices and where it was better to get it done..

now i noe why that day when i had gone with gabbie to far east the person said it cost 50-60++ bucks.. there are actually two ways of getting it done.. you can either a) get it pierced using the piercing gun that most jewellery shops use for piercing of ear lobes.. or b) getting it pierced at a tatoo and piercing shop using a needle.. option a costs like 5-7+ bucks.. while option b costs a whole lot more.. probably ranging from 50-80+ depending on which shop and also what kind of jewellery you have put in like either barbells or ring..

you guys must be wondering.. siao ehz..!! of course people will choose option a.. so much CHEAPER.. but then of course there's a catch behind it.. it is advised that you only use guns for ear lobes.. anywhere else other than the lobes should be pierced using needles.. coz apparently guns are more shocking to your ear and it isn't as smooth.. you can end up damaging your cartilage and end up with lumps etc..

so me being me chose option b.. lolz.. i know.. i'm nuts.. spending that kinda money.. but if i want to do it.. might as well do it the proffessional way.. suprisingly i didn't even fill the pinch when i paid.. just like when i had my naval piercing done..

so i sourced online for places to go to.. the top two were either primative art and designs at far east (where i had gine with gabbie to ask the price before) or the tattoo shop at heeren (where i had my naval piercing done).. at first i thought of going to heeren since it was familiar to me.. but in the end i decided on primative coz i might as well try a new shop and see how it was like.. =X

so saturday i woke up around 11am.. slacked at home abit then bathed and got ready.. then i had to do my ecom powerpoint slides with kim via msn.. she did half and i did half then we compiled the slides and sent them to our tutor thru her e-mail coz mel was down for maintanence.. so irritating.. -_-" then i headed for town to go get the piercing done..

when i went into the shop there was this guy standing outside and he had alot of facial piercings and tattoos.. i presumed he was the tattoo artist in the shop.. so i told him i wanted to get my tragus pierced and he showed me into the shop to the lady inside.. then she asked me which jewellery did i want with it and she showed me this board with lots of barbells and rings.. so i choose a blueish metal one with a light blue stone in front.. muahahaha.. no rainbow coloured ones.. bo pianz lar.. =p

then she made me fill up a form with my particulars and anwered some qns like whether i had hept b or hiv or any skin allergies etc etc.. then i paid and the lady led me into this smaller room inside.. i set down on the chair.. its kinda like those chairs in hair salons that can be raised or lowered.. i watched while she steralized the equipment in come contraption which resembled a toaster (lolz~) and was getting ready the other things she needed.. then she went through the after care instructions with me.. and when the equipment was ready she asked me again which side i wanted pierced.. i told her the right.. then she felt both my ears.. ( i read in the forum that they usually pierce the thicker side coz the thicker the tragus the less painful it is.. ) so she said that it would be fine..

so while she was getting ready we talked abit.. she asked me whether i had gotten my naval pierced and whetheri had done it.. i told her and described to her how it went.. then i asked whether it was going to be as painful.. so she said there wouldn't be any unbearable pain.. it would just feel numb.. then i asked her about what's the diff between using guns or needles.. and she commented that i had alot of piercings in my ear.. *shy* lolz..

the she started.. she started by rubbing alcohol and iodine onto my tragus to kill off any germs.. then she used a pen to make a marking where the piercing would be.. asked me to look in a mirror to see if it were alright.. then she put a small piece of cork into this metal thing which was going to be used as a backing for the needle to go thru once it had gone through my tragus.. haha.. sounds scary huh..? i tell ya.. it was abit scary when i saw the needle she was going to use on the table.. i'm not really that scared of piercings.. just a bit of the pain.. but i'm alright.. i think i'm alright as long as i don't see what exactly is happening.. just like for my naval piercing.. the while time i was looking up at the ceiling.. if i had seen the actual process i might had been grossed out..

so the lady talked me through the process.. then she put the metal thingy with the cork behind my tragus and brought up the needle.. this is it.. she's gonna put that needle through that piece of cartilage.. so she went one, two, three...!! in goes the needle..!! slowly you could feel a sharp pain where the needle had pierced through.. then you could feel the needle being slowly pushed through the cartilage.. in my heart i was wishing for the needle to go through faster and for the whole thing to be over and done with.. i was thinking.. this is actually taking kinda long.. lol.. i thought u just poke through and it's done.. but no.. they do it slowly.. the feeling of some foreign object being pulled through your flesh does feel weird.. not scary or painful.. but weird.. lolz.. then when she had gone all the way through.. she left the needle stuck in the middle of my tragus and went to get the barbell and put it through the piercing.. then she took out the needle..

i looked at the needle wondering if i would see any blood on it.. i was thinking maybe half of it would be covered in blood.. but nah.. it was still silver.. maybe there was pus on it bt you just can't see it coz it's too thin.. but the needle was bend 90 degrees at the middle..!! haha.. i was kinda suprised.. i wondered since when had she bent the needle..

anyway.. i was relieved that it was over.. all she needed to do was put in the ball bearing at the back.. BUT.. i tell ya.. it didn't end just yet.. COZ.. she had problems getting the ball bearing in.. coz you know the space from the tragus to your ear is just so small.. it's hard to get your fingers in.. so she spent like 5-10minutes just getting it in.. -_-" and i had to keep my back straight and neck tilted to one side.. was damn happy when she finally got it in.. she was damn happy too.. wahahahhahahahahahhaha.. she asked me whether it hurt.. then i was like.. "it's okay".. then she said that i wasn't scared of the pain and that i was brave.. *beams* heehee.. =X yah lar.. i know i'm sort of daring in that rebellious sort of way.. but i'm no ah lian or gangster if that's what you're thinking.. i'm too guai.. =p

so she gave me more instructions.. like keep away from seafood.. try to clean the piercing as often as possible.. dry it if it becomes wet.. and not to wear any bike helmets for the time being.. =X ( and my bf is a rider lar.. -_-" )

all in all.. i thought the experience was pretty good.. and i liked the lady alot.. she was very nice, bubbly and funny.. IF i ever go for any piercings again ( don't think so lar.. nowhere else that can be pierced that i want to pierce ).. i think i'd go back there..

you guys must be wondering the price right..?? it's alot lar.. more expensive than my naval piercing summore.. maybe that shop charges more.. anyway.. the barbell itself costs 38.. so i think the piercing was 40.. so 78 in total.. haha.. some of you must be fainting by now.. =X i know that is alot of money.. so don't you people scold me okay.. i did it willingly and i have no regrets..

after that walked around looking for a handphone pouch for dear.. i knew he needed one.. so i wanted to give him one as a suprise.. so i ended up getting one from 77th street.. it's kinda unique coz instead of the normal kind where you pull the string from both sides.. this one has a zipper instead.. and it's on the side rather then on the top.. hee.. i went to a few shops before i found it.. actually another shop was selling it too but they didn't have the size.. and i saw one i liked in that other shop.. blue with rainbow stripes.. same brand and same pattern with the zip on the side.. gonna get it next time i go to town.. =X hee..

then i took a cab over to dear's place.. he was still feeling sick and was still having a fever.. so i wanted to give him a suprise.. i didn't tell him i was coming over.. instead i told him i was at home doing homework.. =X

when i got there his dad was outside of the house so he told me the gate wasn't locked.. so i went in.. talked to his mum abit then went to his room.. at first when i was at the gate my hp msg tone rung and i was thinking oh no.. if he heard it he would know i'm there.. but he didn't.. and luckily he didn't hear me taking to his mum.. then i walked into his room and there he was resting on the bed with his eyes closed.. he didn't even hear me come in.. lolz.. then i quietly crept over to give him a peck on the lips when my knocked into his computer chair.. -_-" (what a clumsy oaf) then he opened his eyes and was shocked to see me.. haha.. the look on his face.. he was shocked + suprised + happy.. haha.. his eyes were open wide and he had this funny smile on his face.. haha.. it was simply priceless.. felt really good inside to make him smile..

he was still having fever.. so i just stayed and kept him company.. then i had dinner at his place and then had to take a bus over to great world city for work as i was working at 6pm..

work on saturday and sunday was damn tiring lar.. was pretty shagged.. especially now being the school holidays.. more customers are coming.. and we're pretty short of staff.. only 5 of us working on service on sat and 4 of us for the whole day on sun.. -_-" i am getting really TIRED of being so tired on weekends.. =S

on sat after work i went over to dear's place again to accompany him.. stayed til 1+am in the morning and took a cab back.. then on sunday dear gave me a suprise by suddenly appearing at the restaurant after work.. he told me that he was at home.. then just nice when i went into the storeroom to change he came to the restaurant.. and the first thing i opened the door i saw him and i was like "AYE..!!" =X hee.. and he had cut+dyed+highlighted his hair.. looks kinda good.. =) and he took bus back home with me coz he was still sick and didn't ride his bike.. thankz for accompanying me dear even thought you had no more transport all the way back to telok blangah and had to walk home from bukit timah or izzit merah area.. =S

and today.. my 9am tutorial was cancelled lar..!! and the tutor didn't inform us in advance.. kns.. there was a note on the tutorial room door.. with only the number 21-11-04.. so my classmates assumed it meant that class was changed to blk 21 room #11-04.. but the thing is.. got block 21 in our school meh?? -_-" even if got.. since when does that area have a block with 11 stories..?? then later on they realized.. it was the bloody date lar.. today was the 21-11-05 mah.. KNS lehz.. the teacher wrote the wrong year lar..! TMD.. makes us walk all the way there.. then at that moment it starts to rain.. *dotz*

anyway.. the rest of the day was okay.. from now on miss wong will be taking over ief lectures.. yippy..!! =D but aaa tutorial was damn xiong.. couldn't understand a thing he was talking about and the questions were all so long lar.. but actually it was coz i didn't do my homework.. coz tzyy horng had borrowed my notes the last week and only returned it today.. so didn't have the notes to do homework.. =S went home after school.. so guai rite..?? haha.. actually coz dear's not free today.. he went for a job interview.. and i think he got the job.. congrats dear.. =D

then i finished up my sch library book.. FINALLY.. it's overdue for like 2-3months already lar.. summore i have 2 books.. =X slacked at home.. dinner.. went to serangoon central to buy some stuff.. slack again.. bathed.. talked on the phone with dear.. was printing notes halfway when my black ink ran out.. and my dad asked me to try to install my new one on my lappy.. yea.. i have a new printer which was a free gift with my new cable plan along with the digicam.. hp2350.. photo printer.. printer, copier, scanner all in one.. =D it's damn cool lar.. way better than my old lok kok one.. =X hope it prints tonnes faster too.. then i'll really love it.. =X hee.. okay lar.. better go back to installing it now.. til i blog again.. muaCkz~*
