it's been ages..
YES..!!

i managed to get TOURISM & LEISURE MANAGEMENT for my third year specialization.. and i am ESTATIC about it.. =D i have been worrying about it all sem ever since they said that tourism was gonna be hot this time round and that not everyone who chose pure tourism as their first choice would be able to get in due to the overwhelming response and the limited spaces..

BUT..

my results for this sem weren't all that great.. it is my LOUSIEST results in all my four semesters in ngee ann.. arghs.. when dear helped me to check my results this morning i felt disgusted.. my gpa has always been at least 3 and above.. but this sem it has dropped to 2. something.. *disappointed* and 3 out of my 7 modules got C's or C+'s.. -_-" gonna have to work alot harder for year 3..

on the bright side.. i did PASS everything.. even my accounting module.. i was so afraid i might have to retake ief or aaa.. thank god for moderation.. =X

i know i haven't been blogging for ages and ages.. and it's not that i didn't want to.. for the first week of attachment it was coz i was meeting dear everyday after work and i got home like 11 or 12+ everyday and was way too tired to go online at all.. then for the second week.. my laptop got spoilt.. couldn't even turn it on at first.. according to dear my hard drive is spoilt and i'm gonna have to buy a new one.. arghs.. there goes all my pictures and songs.. hopefully they can be saved first before i go reformat my lappy and change the hard drive.. =S

and my desktop at home is like 8 years old..? pentium 1.. windows 98.. takes 10 minutes to start up.. another 5 minutes to load after you log in.. then another 5 minutes to open windows explorer.. 10 + 5 + 5 = 20minutes.. (opportunity cost of 20 minutes spent doing something more useful) so you understand my situation on why i dread using it and therefore have not been coming online.. to make matters worst.. i can't even blog on my desktop.. something about an error with my cookies and javascript thingy.. but i checked already and all the settings are correct.. oh wells..

so now i have started playing with my ps2 again.. currently playing suikoden 3.. been ages since i last touched my ps2.. it has been on my bedroom floor gathering dust.. =X gonna need to buy some new games.. my current ones are all getting outdated already lar.. and there's so many games out there that i love and haven't gotten my hands on yet.. can't wait for kingdom hearts 2 to come out.. it's being released next tuesday.. yippee..!! =) rpg games rock.. and kingdom hearts is a great rpg game.. okay.. i'm starting to sound more like a guy.. but hey.. who said girls can't be videogame addicts..?

it's been 3 weeks into the attachment programme.. and i still think office jobs suck.. especially those related with telemarketing.. we haven't started on sales yet and already i'm dreading calling people up to ask them if they wanted to use the company walkie talkie rental service.. the first 1-2 days was pretty fun.. but after that it just got really boring.. especially when you get rejected by people who speak in harsh tones or hang up on you.. it just irritates the shit out of you.. -_-" 4 more weeks.. i can't wait til attachment ends.. but on the bright side.. i did get to make 4 new friends and get to know them alot better.. 3 of them are from ngee ann.. and i didn't know them before attachment.. mahesh and yati were from the same spanish class as me but i never talked to them before.. and i never saw renfeng before.. even though we've been having lectures together for the past 2 years.. -_-" they're all nice and fun people and i'm glad to get to know them.. =D

and if you've been wondering about my bike lessons.. i have YET to pass prac 1.. -_-" gone 3 times already.. so close to passing.. just one more stage.. oh wells.. at least i'm improving with each attempt.. i didn't drop my bike at all during the third attempt.. but engine stalled quite a few times.. =X hope i pass on the 4th try.. *prays* it's kinda irritating coz i have to wait at least a week in between praticals coz the slots are always fully booked.. guess it's a bad time to want to chiong when it's the poly holidays.. -_-"

and i've been given a number for a private instructor for driving by tianyu.. tried calling him this afternoon to ask him if he was still taking in students and what was his rate.. but nobody answered.. probably try again tomorrow.. i passed my advanced theory last nov and i have yet to go for any driving lessons yet.. =X

so what have i been up to lately..? well.. other then working at DNA.. i've still been working at country manna on sat and sun.. so i'm like working practically everyday.. been doing so for the past 21 days.. now that dear has found a job and his working hours are exactly the same as mine.. 8am - 5.30pm.. we hardly meet on weekdays so weekends are for "spending time with him".. we've caught big momma's house 2 and the shaggy dog.. and last saturday we went for a super 4 outing.. it was pretty cool to be riding together in a group of 20-30 bikes.. especially when they are of the same kind and you hear the sound of the exhuasts together at the same time.. it is simply pretty damn SHIOK.. =X can't wait to get my license.. *dreams* they met up at marina south.. then went to some park at ponggol and then to changi village for supper.. but at some parts it was abit boring coz the people there already had their own cliques.. and dear's bike key broke when he wanted to take out the seat to hang our helmets.. =O thank god he brought his spare keys.. (which he usually DOES NOT bring) if not then we can't go home.. and changi village is a long way to take a cab home.. imagine the final cab fare..?? *phew*

the other day i met up with tianyu, weiye and maurice (who i haven't seen for dinosaur years).. we met up at sun plaza.. walked around abit.. then went to some seafood place at sembawang beach for dinner.. the place is pretty ulu.. we took a cab in.. then we talked and talked and talked and caught up with each other.. dinner was pretty good.. we ordered zhu cao coz seafood was pretty expensive.. then we had to walk out to the mainroad itself coz there were no cabs there.. freaking scary.. the place is super dark.. there are no street lamps.. it's like in the middle of the forest.. 10+pm at night.. and it looks like a scene from a horror film.. like a ghost could just jump out from the forest or someone might call your name or tap you on the back from behind.. and it was a pretty long walk to any sort of "civilization".. about 15-20 minutes...?? i was damn scared later.. kept holding on to weiye's sleeve to make sure they wouldn't run off and leave me behind.. stupid ty and ma was trying to scare me from behind.. -_-" luckily we made it back in one piece and didn't see anything "special".. it's pretty fun meeting up with them again after so long.. i miss the times after the o'lvls when we used to hang out all the time.. there's swee siang too.. think i haven't seen him for more than a year.. he's in the army now.. heard from them that he's in brunei now and will be coming back in may.. will probably some gathering and meet up with him then..

it's the weekend again.. yayness.. and saturday is the only day i get to wake up late.. gonna be staying over at dear's tonight.. he's trying to fix my laptop right now as i blog..

i MISS shopping..!! haven't been doing it for some weeks already.. i want to get more jeans from collage.. and MAYBE get an ipod nano for my birthday.. *AHEM*.. which is coming soon.. 4th april.. still can't decide whether to get black or white.. but i'll probably get it in 4GBs.. favourite number 4.. =X but first.. i'll need to get some ka-ching ka-ching to buy it.. then maybe some new clothes from topshop, collage, zara, heeren or far east.. and my ps2 games.. ahhhh..!! can't wait to get next month's pay.. gonna spend spend spend..!!

i also want to congratulate my dear boy on his being shortlisted for an interview to get into smu.. congratulations babe..!! jia you and all the best.. =D

i miss my tb23'04 compadres.. everyone's all so busy doing attachment.. hope we can have some gathering sometime soon..

these are just my random thoughts.. coz there are so many things in my mind.. so do pardon me for the messy-ness..
