omg!! xiao qiang in my room..!! =O
this morning i awoke to see a roachie running across my room door.. holy shit! and it's not a itty bitty one.. it' BIG.. and then it went into hiding god knows where in my room.. told my dad about it hoping he would go searching for the critter.. and guess what he said.. "your room's so messy.. how am i going to find it? just wait til it comes out again." omg.. i still have to wait? so now everytime i go into my room i have to look around first to ensure the coast is clear before i step in.. guess i'm gonna be living in paranoia for the next few days.. =(

anyway.. i skipped school again today.. haha.. 2nd week in a row i skipped wisp.. went with my dad to the australian embassy to renew my passport.. security is like damn tight there.. and guess what.. coz my dad said that they don't allow camera phones into the embassy so i left my phone in the car which was parked across the road at the glenneagles hospital.. so.. i had to walk all the way back to the hosital carpark.. which means walking the long way in the hot sweltering sun and crossing the overhead bridge.. then back again.. omg.. i swear the weather can kill.. i was feeling so dehydrated the whole way.. especially since it was one trip there.. the another back to the carpark.. and then another back to the embassy.. and lastly one more time to leave the place after we were done at the embassy.. *pengs*

then it was back to school to hand up my cover letter and resume for csc.. then me and dad headed over to j8 for lunch.. had mos burger.. and then we had to buy a present for my aunt from canada coz it's her birthday today.. we bought her a bracelet and some shawls.. and you know what.. dad bought some for me too.. =X haha..!!

then now here i am back home.. going over to auntie munfong's house later for a bbq to celebrate auntie laura's birthday.. dear's coming too.. =)

after school me and janet went for a makan session.. first we went over to maxwell market.. i introduced janet to my favourite egg tau hway.. and she loved it.. =D we wanted to camera whore and take pics of the tau hway.. but we were sharing a table with other people and it felt kinda awkward.. we also bought some finger food.. i had goreng pisang and janet bought oneh oneh.. people were looking at us as they walked past us while we were taking the pics.. -_-"

after that we walked over to chinatown.. janet wanted to bring me to this dessert shop there.. we had this mango with pomelo dessert, peanut paste and chestnut cake.. the mango dessert one was good.. =D

after that we walked high and low in search of a pao pao cha shop coz i had a sudden urge to drink some.. we walked for about more than half an hour... NO PAO PAO CHA..!! there isn't even a single bubble tea shop in the whole of chinatown.. how can that be..?? =( so i had no choice but to settle for coke lime from 7-11..

then i went home to wait til dear knocked off from work and came over to our place.. then we headed down to the ntuc near my place to buy the stuff we needed to cook home made burgers.. =D actually i was supposed to cook but dear ended up doing the cooking while i was his assistant.. =X lalalalalalalalallalalaalla..

we had our cem presentation for the class project.. so everyone was dressed in formal while the presenters were dressed up to suit our theme.. mystery seduction..

then after school me and monica went to holland village to get a drink and get some grub.. okay.. i'm kinda suagu and have never been to holland village before although it is so freaking near to school.. so it was pretty exciting for me.. holland v has such nice shops and there are so many interesting things to see.. they have so many eateries lar.. but of course the more up market kinds.. so we went to a cafe called essential brew.. mon's recommendation.. it's a really nice place.. and you get to sit on the floor on cushions rather than sit at the conventional table and chair.. so cool..!!

i was supposed to go home before 6.30pm coz auntie munfong was supposed to pick me and my dad up from our place to go to the esplanade with my ah ma, auntie laura and auntie leaan.. according to what my dad had told me.. we were only going to walk around esplanade and the merlion for my aunt to take pictures..

it was already 5.30pm by the time me and mon left holland v so i went directly to the esplanade to meet them instead.. on bus 74 i met hanwei.. my upper sec classmate.. haha.. i used to have a crush on him back in sec 4.. he even bought me cookies from mrs field for no apparent reason before.. =X now when i look back it's damn funny.. i wonder what i saw in him then.. lols.. there are so many stupid things to look back on in the past.. (dear is gonna kill me when he sees this.. =X)

when i met them at the esplanade to my horror.. we were going to have dinner first.. i had thought we were only going to walk.. if i had known i wouldn't have eaten at holland v.. and i was already damn full from all the snacks we had.. we went to this chinese-french fusion restaurant called "my humble house".. it has won an award for being the best chinese cuisine for some competition.. the place is damn classy.. but the interior is really very unique.. and the chairs.. they are huge lar.. they're like thrones from some enchanted kingdom.. they're taller than me when i'm standing up.. i wanted to take some pics but it was too dark and my phone doesn't have flash so the pics weren't clear..

i thought maybe i'd just get a drink.. but my aunt ordered the dunno how many course dinner set.. and it costs like 85+++ per person.. i couldn't not eat.. although my tummy was screaming NO MORE FOOD..!! the food was pretty good though.. luckily each course came in small portions.. there was mushroom stuffed with fruit filling for the appetizer.. then we had tempura with soft shell crab.. and then crab's claw soup.. followed by lobster.. and then huge pork ribs.. and porridge (more like rice + soup) and lastly (and FINALLY!) dessert.. to me the dessert was the best.. it was coconut milk and a frozen yam ice cream ball inside a coconut.. and the put dry ice beside it so there was smoke all over.. felt like a stuffed cow after all that eating..




there were 2 kinds of chairs.. there were the throne like ones..


and there were the enchanted forest kinds.. haha.. that's my ah ma and auntie laura..


oh yea.. the restaurant has a dress code and co my dad was in berms.. they made my dad wear a sarong.. an extra long black one at that.. wahahahahhaa.. he looked damn funnie lar.. like a man in a long skirt.. luckily i didn't go home.. if not i might have had been decked in a tee shirt and shorts.. =X

after dinner we walked around the esplanade all the way to the mini merlion and back to take pictures.. then finally home sweet home.. and the maple with dear..!!

haha.. speaking about maple.. i have jumped onto the maple story band wagon.. started on monday night.. and now my character is up to level 12.. i tell you.. maple is damn addictive.. =X the enemies are so damn cute lar.. and it's fun to play.. now i understand what the rave was all about.. =P

okay.. time to get ready to go to my aunt's place already.. tata~*
